Problem-based learning (PBL) is increasingly becoming the preferred method of teaching in health care. There is currently a dearth of appropriately written case studies. This book takes a PBL approach to dietetics and nutrition and aims to address this gap. It has been written to complement the Manual of Dietetic Practice (MDP) (5th edition), and the case studies are cross referenced accordingly. Uniquely, the case studies are written and peer reviewed by registered dietitians, drawing on their own experiences and specialist knowledge.
